Filming is underway in Anglesey, North Wales on Helen Walsh’s new movie On The Sea. Written and directed by Walsh, who won a BAFTA Breakthrough award for her debut The Violators, On The Sea tells the story of a powerful attraction between a local man and an itinerant fisherman whose cathartic affair splits a remote fishing community. Shot entirely on location around Amlwch in Anglesey, On The Sea stars Barry Ward (Jimmy's Hall, The Maze), Lorne MacFadyen (Starstruck, Vigil), Liz White (Unforgotten, The Woman In Black) Henry Lawfull (Les Miserables), Celyn Jones (Set Fire To The Stars) and Danny Webb (Alien3). Produced by David A Hughes and David Moores for Red Union Films, along with Chris Clark, Mike Goodridge and Billie Hughes, On The Sea is filmed by Sam Goldie (Voyeurs, The Gathering) and will be released in 2025.
