We are absolutely thrilled that On The Sea won the All The Lovers Audience Award at Lovers Film Festival in Turin!
In her acceptance speech Helen Walsh said "We are absolutely thrilled to win the prestigious Audience Award at your 41st anniversary festival! That it was chosen by a largely queer audience makes it all the more special to me. For 41 years festivals like Lovers have been championing queer voices and subjects and providing a platform for more innovative modes of storytelling that might otherwise have been shunned by the mainstream. We are deeply grateful to the festival for selecting and screening On The Sea. And on behalf of myself, the producers and the cast, we would like to thank the audience for voting for us."
